Topic 7: Pesticides: Good or bad?

Pesticides can be good or bad in its own way. It is a controversial question.

One cannot deny pesticides has aided us in our growing of crops that is essential, but it can also harm us as well. Nowadays the pesticides used are even stronger and lethal to ensure that all kind of bugs dies. However, human's life are also being risked.

We may say that pesticides are good, but not everyone may be as fortunate. "The evidence demonstrating the impact crop spraying has had on the health and lives of so many people is unarguable", says Georgina Downs. People who lived near farms who practise the use of crop spraying has suffered health problems and even cancer.

Not that we can ever stop the use of it, farmers should try to reduce the use of it and use more natural ways to prevent insects from eating their crops.
